Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, entry-level Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our sales team by generating and qualifying new sales opportunities. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is eager to learn, coachable, and passionate about public safety, technology, and making a real-world impact.
As an SDR, you will be responsible for outbound and inbound prospecting, initial outreach, and setting qualified meetings for Account Executives. You’ll play a critical role at the top of the sales funnel and gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing, mission-driven company.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential customers, including homeowners, HOAs, contractors, and commercial property owners
- Conduct outbound outreach via phone calls, email, and other channels to generate interest and qualify leads
- Respond to inbound inquiries and assess fit based on basic needs, location, and wildfire risk factors
- Schedule qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives
- Learn and clearly communicate the value of our wildfire defense solutions at a high level
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, activity, and lead status in the CRM (Salesforce)
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to refine messaging and targeting
- Meet or exceed daily and monthly activity goals (calls, emails, meetings set)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, call center, or a related role
- Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with customers over the phone
- Highly motivated, coachable, and eager to build a career in sales
- Organized with good time management and follow-through
- Basic computer proficiency (CRM experience a plus, but not required)
- Interest in technology, public safety, or sustainability is a strong plus
