As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will be an integral member of the clinical team, providing patient-centered care and supporting clinical operations in a collaborative, technology-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Administer vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID-19, and TB test placements. Accurately obtain and record patient vital signs. Provide emergency support in collaboration with on-site providers during emergent situations. Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout procedures. Assist with patient outreach, appointment scheduling, and reminder calls. Support waiting room management and serve as a chaperone for sensitive exams as needed. Prepare the clinic and waiting areas to ensure a safe and efficient environment. Promote a culture of quality, safety, and patient satisfaction in every interaction. Schedule Details Work schedules are established in 6-week blocks following a 3-week training / orientation period. Shifts range from 7–10 hours, depending on clinic operating hours. Typical schedule includes two or three weekdays and every other weekend. Some major holiday coverage is required. Compensation Pay Rate : $37.17 per hour This is a contingent / temporary position; conversion to a permanent role may be possible but is not guaranteed. Required Qualifications Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of South Carolina (or compact license covering SC). Include a screenshot of your active license on your resume. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must not expire within 30 days of the start date). Include a screenshot or expiration date of certification on your resume. Minimum one year of related healthcare experience. Experience administering immunizations and providing vaccine education. Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation. Ability to obtain vital signs and perform basic clinical assessments. Must pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask as required. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings. Experience using Epic EMR or comparable electronic charting systems. Education Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program, approved by a state agency or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
