The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 depending on experience.

Tutor Perini Civil East is seeking a highly qualified Senior Geotechnical Engineer with 1015 years of experience in underground support of excavation (SOE) design to join our in-house engineering design group. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to the design, analysis, and review of complex excavation support systems for major underground and urban infrastructure projects.

Job Description :

• Lead the design and analysis of excavation support systems, including slurry walls, secant pile walls, sheeting, soldier pile and lagging, underpinning, and bracing systems.
• Review geotechnical site investigation reports and interpret soil and rock conditions.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents related to SOE and foundation systems.
• Prepare temporary SOE design submittals with PE stamp.
• Collaborate with in-house structural engineers, field operations teams, estimators, and external subconsultants.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and project-specific requirements.
