Schedule : Day / Evening Shifts 8 or 10-Hour Shifts

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week

Call : 1-2 nights per week and 3-4 weekend nights per month

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join the dynamic cardiac care team. This role involves assisting physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures within a Level I Trauma facility.

You'll be part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team that delivers advanced cardiovascular care in a fast-paced, acute care setting.

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

Prepare and maintain the Cardiac Catheterization Lab for all procedures.

Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker implantation.

Monitor and record patient vitals, contrast injections, and procedural data.

Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring systems).

Ensure radiation safety compliance and patient protection protocols.

Manage sterile fields and handle specialized instruments and catheters.

Perform post-procedure care and equipment restocking.

Respond to cardiac emergencies and assist during on-call situations.

Requirements :

Minimum Experience : 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience in an acute care setting

Availability for on-call shifts (including nights / weekends)

Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and interventional procedures

Proficiency with Epic EMR documentation

Certifications : Required :

BLS (AHA)

ARRT (R) - Certified Radiologic Technologist

Education : Required :

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program

Preferred :

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Science or related field
