Job description

Job Description

Trigyn's Direct Government Client is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to work onsite in Baltimore, MD. This is a 6-12 month contract opportunity with a possibility of extension, requiring 40 hours of work per week.

The role involves providing technical assistance, support, and advice to end users for hardware, software, and systems. Key responsibilities include :

  • Providing hands-on technical assistance to business and technical users
  • Investigating and resolving computer software and hardware problems
  • Serving as a contact for level 1 support and users with problems using computer software, hardware, and operating systems
  • Determining the cause of problems and escalating as necessary
  • Answering questions and applying knowledge of computer software, hardware, systems, and procedures
  • Talking with technical and non-technical co-workers to research problems and find solutions
  • Using diagnostic software and participating in diagnostic procedures
  • Maintaining current industry knowledge through independent study and reading trade magazines
  • Following quality standards and displaying strong customer service skills
  • Working in a team environment and completing assigned tasks
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have :

  • 1-3 years of field experience
  • A 2-year associate's degree or equivalent technical study (preferred)
  • Baltimore City residents are encouraged to apply.
