Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

NEW RATES $34 / HR - $37 / HR + $2.00 Shift Differential for Nights and Weekends!!!!

Actors Fund Home , an assisted living, skilled nursing, accredited dementia care and sub-acute rehabilitation center located in Englewood, NJ, and a recipient of a CMS Five Star Rating is seeking Full Time or Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurses to provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN to our residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistants.

JOB DUTIES

• Ensures that all residents are assessed and evaluated as per policy and procedure throughout their stay by reviewing resident's plan of care.
• Coordinates nursing services to ensure that the resident's total regimen of care is maintained.
• Prepares and administers medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with current federal, state and local standards.
• Ensures that an adequate supply of floor stock medications, medical supplies and equipment is on hand to meet nursing needs of the residents.
• Administers professional services such treatments of catheterization, tube feedings, suction, applying and changing dressings / bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, etc. as required.
• Completes and files required records / forms / charts upon the resident's admission and residence.
• Reports and investigates all allegations of resident abuse and or misappropriation of resident property.

This is an hourly position offering a range between $34 / HR - $37 / HR in The Actors Fund Home in Englewood, NJ. The current shift demands are inclusive of 7am-3 : 30pm & 3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm and scheduling needs are flexible between every weekend or every other weekend.
