Key job responsibilities :

• Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for construction services
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and competitive landscapes
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to drive efficiency and performance
• Create robust metrics and accountability mechanisms for supplier performance
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives

A day in the life :

Your day will be filled with dynamic challenges that blend strategic planning, collaborative problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making. You'll engage with cross-functional teams, analyze market trends, and develop innovative sourcing strategies that drive operational excellence. Each day you will interact with different teams responsible for all aspects of the data centers. You will prioritize your activities to support data center capacity availability and safety focusing on the actions that are most impactful. You will have the opportunity to work on projects locally and globally.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and we're looking for talented people who want to help.
