Cardiac CRNA – Per Diem Opportunity

Location : Florence, SC

Start Date : January 5, 2026

Shift : Flexible (must be willing to work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts as needed)

Overview

A facility in Florence, SC is seeking a Cardiac CRNA for urgent per diem coverage. The role focuses on adult cardiac, major vascular, and thoracic anesthesia, with potential for general and ASC cases. Providers must be comfortable with open heart procedures and willing to take minimal cardiac call. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, and cross-credentialing for Columbia may be required to meet coverage needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver anesthesia care for cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and general surgical procedures

Perform nerve blocks for vascular patients

Participate in pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain patient consent

Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients

Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

Monitor patient physiological status and provide clinical interventions as needed

Requirements

Active South Carolina CRNA license

Experience with open heart procedures

Willingness to take cardiac call (minimal)

Flexibility to work varying shift lengths (8, 10, or 12 hours)

Willingness to cross-credential for Columbia location
