JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Accounting, the Corporate Accountant is responsible for handling various duties from general ledger reconciliation to month end close.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconciliations and account analysis
- Prepare financial management reports
- Assist with preparation and coordination of internal and external audits
- Research miscellaneous account, accounting questions & miscellaneous mail
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with GAAP
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- Assist with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
