We are looking for a WiFi Automation Test Engineer-Philadelphia PA- 100% onsite

We’re seeking an experienced WiFi Automation Test Engineer to join the Whole Home Product and Test House team focused on Mesh on Gateways and Extenders .

You will play a key role in testing, validating, and enhancing next-generation Wi-Fi and Mesh features , ensuring the timely delivery of program milestones in alignment with business needs and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Wi-Fi / Mesh feature testing, performance, and benchmark analysis on Gateways and Extenders.
  • Develop and execute new Mesh feature test cases , including deep-dive and triage testing activities.
  • Conduct defect validation , regression, and feature verification testing on XH Wi-Fi devices.
  • Create and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for Wi-Fi feature validation.
  • Manage sanity, regression, and functional testing in both lab and simulated customer environments.
  • Analyze, interpret, and present test data and results to senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with product, firmware, and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery of Wi-Fi / Mesh releases.

Tools & Technologies

  • Protocols : 802.11ac / ax, Zigbee, Bluetooth, Thread
  • Test Systems : RF Chambers, Octoscope, Ixia
  • Traffic Generators : iGen, Ixia Chariot, iPerf
  • Automation : Experience with scripting in any language (Python preferred) for automation and test execution

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of Wi-Fi testing, Mesh feature validation, and system-level integration experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge of IoT interoperability, CE / CPE devices, and network troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and present Wi-Fi performance data and logs.
  • Must have experience with automation (any scripting language; Python preferred ).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to executive leadership.
