Now hiring a Control Systems Engineer for a Direct Hire role in Dallas, TX!
Join a cross-functional Design Engineering team to develop, test, and support control systems for industrial power conversion equipment (3.5 kVA to 250 kVA). You'll design and optimize control algorithms for rectifiers, converters, and inverters using C programming, and validate performance through lab testing and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement control algorithms / software for power electronics
Test, troubleshoot, and validate control systems on hardware
Document development and testing processes
Integrate control software with broader system functions
Stay current with control systems theory and technologies
Qualifications :
BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
3–5 years in power electronics and control systems
Proficient in system modeling, simulation (MATLAB, Simulink, LTspice, PSIM)
Experience with PWM techniques, power conditioning, TI DSPs, and C programming
Familiar with communication protocols (SPI, CAN, I2C, Modbus TCP / IP)
Skilled in using lab equipment and version control tools (GitHub / GitLab)
Basic PCB design knowledge (Altium, PADS, EAGLE, KiCAD)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
