Regional Director of Sales & Marketing – Senior Living

Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Regional Director of Sales & Marketing to lead sales efforts across our senior living communities within an assigned region. This role offers the opportunity to make a strong local impact — our current company footprint is heavily based in Central Ohio and expands to the Pittsburg, Lexington, and Southern Michigan regions. Several communities are close enough to be commutable from home and back an all communities are within driving distance . You’ll provide hands-on support, drive occupancy growth, mentor sales teams, and implement strategies that ensure long-term success.
While regional travel is a key part of this position, the travel is manageable and focused , allowing you to stay connected with your teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor Community Relations Directors (CRDs) to achieve sales goals.
- Support onboarding and training of new CRDs within the region.
- Provide hands-on coaching through tour observations, sales calls, and outreach activities.
- Partner with communities to create and execute strategic sales and marketing plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, prospective residents, and families.
- Monitor key sales metrics (lead generation, conversion rates, closing ratios) and implement performance improvements.
- Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and senior living industry developments.
- Collaborate with leadership on annual sales and marketing budgets.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide recognition, and ensure training compliance.
- Represent the organization at marketing events and community activities.
- Travel regionally to support communities and sales initiatives within the assigned area.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred).Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in senior living, with at least 2 years in a multi-site leadership role.Ability to travel up to 90%.Strong leadership and coaching abilities with proven success in team development.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of industry regulations, market dynamics, and competitor landscape.Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.Highly organized, results-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.Why Join Us?
