Overview
NextGear Capital is excited to welcome a motivated and analytical Mid-Level Product Owner to enhance our Borrower Risk Management team. This critical role will drive improvements in our risk mitigation efforts through innovative, data-driven product development. You'll work closely with diverse teams to create solutions that significantly enhance borrower risk assessments, increase operational efficiency, and align with our broader strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers and User Experience teams to influence product strategy and the roadmap for borrower risk mitigation.
- Assist in planning for product increments (PI), defect prioritization, and maintaining a well-organized backlog for release train and scrum teams.
- Generate and share innovative ideas aimed at improving product performance and achieving set KPIs.
- Work alongside scrum teams to build and enhance products that meet our objectives.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify problems, facilitate resolutions, and gather valuable feedback.
- Define scoping, gather requirements, and prioritize tasks while ensuring traceability and adherence to standards.
- Coordinate efforts with other agile product managers to seamlessly deliver a cohesive vision across multiple delivery streams or release trains.
- Lead projects by identifying potential risks, utilizing project management methodologies, and ensuring successful project closure and review.
- Conduct performance analyses and monitoring for assigned products to support problem-solving and contribute to successful product launches.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree coupled with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Familiarity with the SAFe Agile methodology.Strong ability to convert data insights into actionable strategies and outcomes.Experience in the design, development, and execution of product plans.Knowledgeable in full product lifecycle methodologies.Skilled at creating and prioritizing epics and features effectively.Proficient in backlog management, user story creation, and facilitating Agile ceremonies.Exceptional communication skills and aptitude for stakeholder engagement.Preferred Skills
Adept at translating complex data requirements into clear and effective product features.Understanding of risk management principles, particularly within financial services or lending industries.Experience with data products, analytics platforms, or risk scoring systems is advantageous.Compensation
The salary range for this position is between $79,400.00 and $119,000.00 annually. Compensation will be directly influenced by various factors, including the candidate's skills, experience, and the position's location. Additional compensation opportunities may be available through incentive programs.
