Quality Engineer – Automotive Manufacturing (Portageville, MO)

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement quality control systems to ensure compliance with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and IATF 16949 standards.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (RCA / CAPA).
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and design teams to embed quality standards into the process.
• Conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.
• Analyze quality data (SPC, capability studies) to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including control plans and inspection records.
• Train and mentor team members on quality procedures and best practices.
• Act as the primary customer liaison for quality issues, coordinating containment, RCA, and corrective actions (8D, OEM portals).
