Preference will be given to candidates who fit the Civil Engineer II role, with consideration for those with less formal education and experience meeting the qualifications of the Civil Engineer I role.

• Performs work reviewing, approving, and drafting design plans, specifications, and calculations for water and sewer projects; conducting contract administration; coordinating construction operations; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field of study or an Associate’s degree in a related field of study with two years of experience in conducting civil engineering field and clerical work, plan reviews, inspecting construction sites, land surveying, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
• This position typically requires working Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm with a one (1) hour lunch break.
