About the Role

Senior Superintendent - Traveling

The Senior Superintendent - Traveling role oversees large, complex projects or multiple projects, managing daily operations of the project site including safety, quality, scheduling, site logistics, progress reporting, staffing of assigned projects.

Position Logistics

• Work Environment : On-Site
• Location : Des Moines, Iowa
• Work Schedule : Monday - Friday
• Work Type : Full Time, Exempt
• Location & Travel Details : This is a traveling position (up to 100%), where you will be located onsite at a project location for the duration of the project. Reasonable support for meals and lodging will be provided for eligible team members while traveling. This position will be eligible for routine travel home. A company vehicle will be provided.

Position Responsibilities :

Scheduling and Logistics Management

Update project schedule on a weekly basis; updates to include three-week look-ahead, critical path and recovery schedules.

Project Oversight

Operational Leadership

Lead post-construction strategies, including seamless client handover, maintenance planning, and operational guidelines.

Site Safety

Quality Assurance and Control

Leadership

General Responsibilities

We're Seeking Individuals Who Have :

Proactively drives initiatives and successfully manages projects while making high-impact decisions

Advanced experience in construction layout, plan, and shop drawing reading.

Qualifications :

10+ years’ experience in industrial construction or other relevant construction industry

SWPPP certification
