Provider Assistant (Medical Assistant / CMA / RMA / LPN / EMT) - Family Medicine

We are currently looking for a medical assistant (36 hours / week) for our Family Medicine Department. Position is eligible for full-time benefits including medical and dental insurance. Applicants do not need previous experience or training / certification as a medical assistant but do need to meet the minimum requirements for the position. Other part-time and full-time opportunities may be available $3,000 HIRING BONUS for eligible candidates.

Job Description : As a provider assistant at HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater, you are responsible for a variety of patient care duties and other related duties in the clinical setting that include documentation of medical information, administration of medications / vaccinations and treatments, as well as obtaining medical histories, vital signs, etc. The provider assistant assists the healthcare providers in the timely delivery of services per physician / RN direction and according to Clinic policies and procedures. All programs and activities are designed to support the short- and long-term mission, vision, goals, and objectives of HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater.

Responsibilities :

• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Take vital signs and document findings in the patient record
• Review annual wellness questionnaire with appropriate patients
• Administer immunizations
• Monitor messages and relay clinician responses via phone calls
• Enter orders for laboratory services
