HF Foods Group, Inc., headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a leading distributor of international foodservice solutions to Asian restaurants and other businesses across the United States. With 15 distribution centers strategically located throughout the nation, HF Foods Group aims to supply the increasing demand for Asian American restaurant cuisine.
We are looking for a hard-working warehouse associate to help us in our warehouse. The warehouse worker is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders.
Essential duties and responsibilities include receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock; maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock; inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages; organizing the warehouse space; preparing orders for shipment; operating stock management tools; counting stock and keeping inventory records; and any other duties as assigned.
Skills and qualifications include a basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in warehouse; thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent time management skills; successfully passing background checks including criminal history and drug screening; and the ability to use a forklift or pallet jack to move the pallets and/or products.
Physical requirements include frequently using hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms; lifting and/or moving up to 50lbs and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs; repetitive hand use including pushing and pulling up to 50lbs, reaching above shoulder; frequent bending and squatting; and the ability to endure physically demanding shifts and repetitive tasks.
Education and/or training include a high school diploma or equivalent required and 1+ years of warehouse experience. A forklift driver's certification is preferred.
Work conditions include office and warehouse environment; occasional periods of standing or sitting for extended periods of time; required wearing of appropriate PPE; exposure to hot/cold weather and loud noises in a warehouse environment; frequent computer and telephone use; and frequent communication with people throughout the day.
