Key responsibilities include performing cardiac electrophysiology studies, head-up-tilt tests, cardioversions, and device implants. The technician will be skilled in handling various cardiac devices, including Watchman, Aveir, pacemakers, and defibrillators. Experience with relevant equipment such as Philips X-Ray machines and GE Micropacers is required. Preferred experience includes using 3D mapping systems and various ultrasound equipment. Candidates must be proficient in obtaining vital signs and monitoring sinus node rhythms. The role demands familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and the ability to interpret dysrhythmias. Responsibilities include setup and maintenance of sterile fields, room circulation, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential in this role to ensure patient safety and effective care delivery. The Electrophysiology Tech will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. This position does not require weekend or on-call duties.
