The Midstream Operator is responsible for conducting routine activities based on maintenance plans and monitoring pipeline pressures and flows, operating equipment, safety, and reliability of the pipeline system. The role performs periodic visual inspections and monitors real-time surveillance of pipeline systems. The role operates lines in compliance with regulatory permits and maintains compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. The role provides timely and accurate information on emergency events to the technical services foreman and coordinates with chemical tech to ensure internal pipeline protection is sufficient. The role recognizes, analyzes, and resolves complex problems related to pipeline maintenance and operations, taking corrective action in emergency and non-emergency situations, contributing to operational efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities :
Education : High School Diploma / General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
Experience : 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in operations specializing in areas such as Pipeline Inspections, Operations, and Maintenance or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
Certifications : Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Certifications (preferred) DOT Pipeline Operator Qualification (OQ) (preferred) API 1169 Pipeline Inspector Certification (preferred)
