Assistant Project Manager – Residential Development (Affordable Housing Projects)
Location : New York City – 5 Boroughs
Salary : $75,000 – $110,000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview :
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Project Management team across all phases of development and construction — from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow within a reputable organization that values collaboration, professional development, and community-focused work.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day coordination and administration of active construction and renovation projects.
- Support with budget tracking, schedule management, and project reporting .
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes .
- Participate in bid preparation and assist in the evaluation and selection of subcontractors and vendors.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and identify potential challenges.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with project closeout activities , including punch lists, warranties, and turnover documentation.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field .2–5 years of experience in a construction or development management role , ideally within multifamily residential or affordable housing sectors.Working knowledge of construction sequencing, documentation, and scheduling .Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word .Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with diverse project teams.What’s Offered :
