Electrical Engineering Team Lead

The Engineering Team Lead is an engineering management position responsible for providing technical engineering oversight and design team management for engineering projects for which they are assigned. This technical management role is responsible for financial, resource allocation, logistic and technical leadership of projects and has the capability to mentor and train staff under their supervision. You\'ll be working on tenant fit-outs for our Data Center / Mission Critical work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Possess the ability to understand project requirements and develop a design for the work requested.
• Prepare and oversee work plans for engineering and production resources.
• Oversee Engineers, Designers and Modeling staff assigned to team or project work.
• Ability to communicate with Project Manager (PM) or Executive regarding effort required to accomplish an expected deliverables and project support. This may include developing requests for additional services for submittal to the PM or Owner.
• Lead the Engineering CAC effort and interaction with the project PM.
• Able to resolve a variety of complex problems (i.e. conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, difficult coordination requirements).
• Supervise the coordination of the project with city, state, and county officials, and other regulatory agencies
• Attendance at project design meetings with the overall Design Build Team.
• Job Site Visits to review installation or assess current conditions.
• Perform Value Engineering studies.
• Act as Engineer of Record for projects within their responsibility.
