Tax and Compliance Analyst - Urgently Hiring!

ADP is hiring a  Tax and Compliance Analyst , supporting the Global Payroll Tax & Compliance team for internal ADP associates and business. This role is critical in support of payroll tax and compliance activity for all ADP entities to provide accurately processed payroll which meet the expectations of ADP associates as well as the regulatory requirements of each Federal, State, and Local tax jurisdiction where ADP operates.

This role will require the individual to have a strong attention to detail, analytical skills, problem solving skills, collaboration, creative thinking, and comfort in using various sources of technology.  The role will be expected to identify opportunities to make processes more efficient and evaluate whether such processes can be automated.

Preference location for this position will be Alpharetta, GA although will consider others who can be based at one of our ONE ADP locations.  This role will report to the Director, Global Tax and Compliance – Global Payroll Shared Services.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Conducts audits of US payroll data to confirm accuracy.
• Process prior quarter / year payroll corrections that are necessary and ensure accuracy of revised documents.
• Contribute to year end process to facilitate creation and distribution of Form W-2s for associate.
• Collaborate with Vendors to create corrected Form W-2s where needed and distribute to associate population.
• Request and conduct audits of any amendments submitted based upon any prior quarter / year corrections.
• Coordinate the quarterly reporting of Death Gratuity Payments made to families of deceased associates
• Coordinate the quarterly reporting of Pay Penalties for departing associates in California
• Facilitate creation, verification of Jeffersontown, KY annual refund applications and coordinate with US Tax and Compliance manager on distribution of Forms.
• Maintain databases currently used in facilitating US payroll while identifying opportunities to convert into RPA.
• Maintain the tax accounts for all ADP entities, including tax authorizations and State and Local tax IDs.
• Resolve tax filing discrepancies timely and accurately, ensuring compliance across ADP entities.
• Ensure SOP documentation is created and maintained for any processes utilized associated with compliance controls.
• Identify opportunities for automation of current processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Process incoming mail; ensuring appropriate distribution to internal departments
• Seek continuous improvement in departmental process and procedure
• Other duties as additional responsibilities are given to the department
