Occupational Therapist – Travel Position

Location : Kalispell, MT

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 5x8s Days

Pay : $2,225 / week

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a healthcare facility in Kalispell, MT on a 13-week travel assignment. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide rehabilitative services to support independence in daily living and functional activities. The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient-focused, and experienced in rehabilitation therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients’ functional, cognitive, and therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide therapeutic interventions such as ADL retraining, neuromuscular re-education, strengthening, and mobility support.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, adaptive strategies, and safe use of assistive devices.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Promote recovery, independence, and improved quality of life through evidence-based OT practices.
