About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Operating Room Circulator

Profession : RN (Registered Nurse)

Specialty : RN - OR Circulating

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Days

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 3 years recent circulator experience

License : SD or compact state RN license

Certifications : BLS, ACLS - must be AHA

Must-Have :

Strong orthopedic experience

Experience with total joints and arthroscopy

Robotics experience, highly preferred MAKO

Description :

All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility.

Scrubs will be provided in Ceil Blue.

The position requires circulating for various orthopedic procedures : total joints, MAKO, arthroscopy, as well as spine, foot and ankle, hand, and ORIF.

Some general, ENT, GYN, and plastics procedures may also be included.

The department utilizes MAKO robots for surgeries.

The unit consists of 11 OR suites and 1 GI suite, with 30-50 cases performed daily.

Floating to other units or departments may be required.

No call or weekend shifts are expected in this position.

The charting system used is EPIC.

A commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration with the healthcare team is essential.
