We're currently seeking a Floor Finisher to join our team. As a Floor Finisher you'll provide a reassuring presence while cleaning and maintaining floors throughout our hospital. Full time - 40 Hours a Week
11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Rotating Holidays and Works Every Other Weekend
Overview Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. With 64 private patient rooms 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative efficient and centered on the patient experience. The campus features a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path that winds through the grounds and connects to Millennium Park.
Barnes Jewish West County Hospital Environmental Services Department providing excellent housekeeping and infection prevention processes while striving to provide a safe welcoming healing environment for our patients and their families.
Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Floor Finisher is responsible for cleaning and refinishing floors (buffing stripping waxing) on a regular basis in accordance with standard procedures of the housekeeping department. May involve terminal cleaning of operating room suites.
