Physician Assistant for Urgent Care in Los Angeles

Position Title : Physician Assistant

Location : Los Angeles, CA

Employment Type : PRN (4 shifts a month)

Salary : $75 / hr. plus Overtime and Malpractice Coverage

We currently have 18 clinics located throughout Southern and Central California to serve all your urgent care needs. We are hiring a part-time Physician Assistant for our newest Los Angeles, CA (Century City) location.

Key Responsibilities :

Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.

PRN will be a minimum of 4 shifts per month with one weekend per month (8 am to 9 pm).

Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.

Bread & Butter Procedures : I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.

Equipment : In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray. All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.

Easy-to-use EMR : VelociDoc with Dragon dictation, document patients in 1 minute.

Qualifications :

Completion of a formal MSN FNP Program or MS in Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies

CA Medical License that is active and in good standing

DEA Certificate

One + year of relevant urgent care experience
