The selected physician should be eligible for board certification, and while board certification is not mandatory, ACLS certification is required. The locum tenens physician will be an integral part of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department, with an average of 375 deliveries per year. The call responsibilities involve a beeper, with a call ratio of 1-3 and a 30-minute response time required.
