BIM Technician

Job Description

The structural team at C.S. Davidson, Inc. specializes in designing steel-framed, concrete, and wood-framed projects ranging from industrial platforms in various food and production facilities to complex multi-story buildings. Essential Functions :

• Assist the project manager with overall project responsibilities.
• Visualize and conceptualize in both 3-D and 2-D.
• Accurately create and alter models and construction drawing sets.
• Prepare final models and drawings under the design team’s direction, from rough sketches, mark-ups, or verbal communication.
• Set up BIM models and ensure compliance with client BIM standards and expectations.
• Collaborate with internal and external design disciplines to monitor design-related changes and coordinate model distribution.
