This role involves managing the scope of smaller projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and working closely with project managers to meet project goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing smaller or specialty projects, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of construction procedures.

This is skilled work at the supervisory craftsman level in the installation of ceilings while following all applicable safety rules and regulations. An employee occupying a position in this job classification performs work at the supervisory level over a team of craftsmen engaged in the installation of ceilings. Duties include performing skilled craftsman work; supervising mechanics, helpers, and laborers; planning work and project schedules; training workers; completing necessary paperwork; and creating a safe, efficient project environment. Duties are performed under the supervision of a project foreman, a project superintendent, or a project manager. Work is checked by reports, conferences, and on-site visits. Accountability for project efficiency and employee safety rests with this level of supervision. All work will be expected to meet KENPAT quality and quantity standards.
