Campus Security Officer

Purpose :

The Campus Security will function as a responsible team member with the Residential Life staff, Police Department and community. Promote Safety / Security on property owned and operated by the university.

Essential Job Functions :

• Protect the university property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents.
• Patrol randomly or regularly building.
• Monitor and control access at building entrances.
