THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED IN ONTARIO, CA.
UNACEM North America, a subsidiary of Grupo UNACEM, is seeking a qualified Strategy Analyst reporting to our Strategy and Marketing Manager to work in our project analysis and strategic planning.
The Strategic Analyst will work closely with leadership to help shape, implement, and monitor strategic goals, operational performance, and strategic initiatives that support expansion and improve EBITDA. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in financial and market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare financial models and valuations based on different methodologies for capex projects and potential M&A deals.
- Participate actively in the strategic planning process, quantifying initiatives, expected returns as well as potential synergies and economies of scale if applicable.
- Follow up on the implementation of approved initiatives and their impact on financial results
- Stay informed about industry trends in our area of influence and the latest developments among key players.
- Support management in the preparation of presentations for the Board and the headquarters investment committee
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field required.Experience : 2-3 years of professional experience in financial or consulting firms.Analytical Skills : Strong background in financial analysis, evaluation, and modelling.Communication : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across departments and at all organizational levels.Bilingual : Spanish-speaking would be a plus.Benefits :
