Pathology Assistant

Position Summary

In this role the Pathology Assistant will work directly with the Pathologists and will be performing various surgical tasks to assist in the evaluation of tissue samples in a variety of settings. This will include assistance with frozen sections, fine needle aspirations and bone marrows as well grossing of specimens.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education : Must be a Pathology Assistant certified by the American Board of Pathology or board eligible.

Preferred Education : Must have thorough knowledge of laboratory services.

Minimum Experience : Three years experience in clinical pathology is preferred.
