Role description
Arcadis is seeking a highly motivated Principal Protection and Control Engineer to join our Power Delivery & Renewable team. This senior Lead Technical position will interface with the Protection and Control Team on technical and project management assignments, project engineering, proposal management, and business development. The incumbent will ensure day-to-day client engagement, project and proposal coordination, project execution, resource planning, and hands-on technical solution delivery. The role is accountable to ensure project execution in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and Arcadis policies and procedures. The incumbent will work with other Power Delivery departments and Arcadis business units.
The position involves coordinating the Power Delivery & Renewables (PD&R) team and performing hands-on protection & control engineering, detail design, and studies for utility and developer clients in North America. Collaboration with renewable energy teams (e.g., wind, solar, green H2) is expected. You will help improve quality of life as part of the PD&R team.
Role accountabilities
Travel up to 20% to client sites and meetings, within North America and potentially internationally.
