at Florida's Natural, you will own risk financing and oversight of our hedging program. You will partner closely with Environmental Health & Safety, Operations, Human Resources, Marketing / Advertising, Legal, Procurement, Facilities, Treasury, and Audit to reduce risk, protect our people and brand, and stabilize earnings and cash flow.

What you'll do :

• Set strategy and place coverage for property and business interruption, general and product liability, auto and fleet, workers' compensation, marine cargo, cyber / privacy, employment-related matters, and media / advertising.
• Oversee complex claims and recoveries; ensure proper corrective actions with Environmental Health & Safety, Operations, Human Resources, Marketing / Legal, Procurement, Facilities, Cyber Security and other teams; pursue subrogation and supplier recoveries.
• Convene a quarterly Risk & Insurance Council with the functions above to align plant changes, people programs, marketing campaigns, supplier shifts, and major projects with coverage and controls.

• Co-lead, with Treasury, the policy and governance for hedging : risk appetite, limits, permitted instruments, approvals, and documentation.
• Build a clear view of exposures with Procurement and planning teams : forecasted consumption, price indexes used, potential basis differences, and any customer pass-throughs; tie this to the financial plan.
• Recommend hedge approaches-such as forwards, swaps, options / collars, or fixed-price contracts-using scenario and stress testing and simple risk metrics; weigh benefits against costs over time.
• Coordinate hedge accounting with Controllership : documentation, effectiveness testing, and audit support.
• Produce clear reports for senior leadership and the board on hedge coverage, current market value, realized results, and variance to plan.
• Participate in and support leadership in Enterprise Risk Committee meetings.
