Line Leader

Contract: Full time

The Best Connection are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join one of our client’s based in the Chesterfield area.

As a Team Leader you will be responsible for supervising the production line and motivating a small team to achieve production targets. You will also spend time working on the production line so someone who is used to working at pace would be well suited to the job. For the first few weeks you will be spending most of your time on the production line to get a feel for the role and then moving onto other tasks.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00.

Main duties:

• Managing the production line and labour to meet targets.
• Repacking and Labelling.
• Palletising and shrink wrapping.
• Ensuring the final product meets client specifications.
• Maximising production efficiency to ensure plans are met on an hourly and daily basis.
• Adhering to and promoting best practice in accordance with company Health, Safety and Quality regulations.

Skills and qualifications:

• Experience in a similar role.
• Ability to motivate your peers.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and achieve targets.
• Good IT skills.
• Excellent attention to details.
