As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in supporting a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to those you encounter. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the location using a company or client vehicle. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.Monitor access points and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols.Document observations and incidents clearly and accurately as required by Allied Universal and site policies.Work collaboratively with site personnel, first responders, and / or law enforcement as needed.Remain alert to changes in the environment and promptly communicate potential security-related risks to appropriate personnel.What We're Looking For :

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.Experience in primarily driving posts is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
