Job Details Specialties : Diagnostic Radiology / Nuclear Medicine - Vascular and Interventional Radiology Department : Radiology Start Date : 06-10-2024 End Date : 06-14-2024 Schedule Shifts : Monday - Friday Additional Coverage Dates : July 15 - 19; and July 22 - 26 Responsibilities As a General Radiologist, your responsibilities will include : Conducting basic Interventional Radiology procedures (thoracentesis, paracentesis, PICC Line preferred) Performing 3D mammography and holding Automated Breast Ultrasound certification Reading whole-body MRI with confidence Handling General Nuclear Medicine (VA, HIDA, bone scan) with PET / CT (8-10 procedures) Total number of readers : 130 - 175 exams (depending on ED volume) Additional responsibilities include approximately 25-35 CT scans, 7-10 MRI, 12-15 mammography, and 15 ultrasound procedures Credentialing Requirements Board Certification : Not required Minimum Board Certification : Eligible Active License in VA : Yes Additional Details EMR System : MediTech Practice Setting : Outpatient, Inpatient Inpatient and Outpatient Required : Yes Hospital / Surgery Center Privileges : Required Stroke Certified Facility : Yes Estimated Credentialing Timeframe 30 days Why Choose This Opportunity?
