2026 Database Engineer Intern

Job Description : The purpose of the internship position is to develop college students that are pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology (IT), information systems, library and information science, computer science, data management, or a similar field. Interns will be exposed to a variety of projects and activities that occur within the renewable energy business. Interns will have the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills learned in college and demonstrate abilities in the workplace. The position is temporary, nonexempt, part-time / hourly.

Responsibilities :

• Audit and catalog existing technical / engineering documentation (electronic and hard copy)
• Assist in designing and implementing a digital document management system (DMS)
• Create a centralized repository to store, organize, and manage electronic documentation
• Digitize physical documents and apply metadata for classification and retrieval
• Collaborate with engineering staff to understand document workflows and access needs
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
