Payroll Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will manage payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely compensation for employees. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in multi-state payroll and proficiency with ADP Workforce Now.
Responsibilities :
Process payroll for salaried employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll operations and maintain employee records.
Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.
Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, providing exceptional support to employees.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll integration with other systems.
Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll laws to ensure compliance.
Generate and distribute payroll reports for management review.
Assist with payroll audits by preparing necessary documentation and data.
Requirements :
Proven experience in processing multi-state payroll for salaried employees.
Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll operations.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve payroll-related issues.
Effective communication skills to interact with team members and employees.
Prior experience with payroll audits and reporting is a plus.
