Sales Representative

Location : Sacramento, CA

Schedule : Monday – Friday, Full-Time, Onsite

Pay : $70,000 – $90,000 per year (DOE + Commission Opportunities)

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join a leading mechanical and construction services company in Sacramento. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a highly motivated, organized, and customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, generating leads, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers through regular calls, meetings, and presentations

Generate new business opportunities by identifying potential clients through cold calling, networking, and project research

Manage and track all bids, proposals, and lead follow-ups to ensure timely responses and accurate documentation

Collaborate with superintendents, foremen, engineering, and estimating teams to support technical aspects of bids and service proposals

Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving client issues

Assist with scheduling and tracking bid deadlines and progress across assigned accounts

Conduct job kickoffs with project teams and customers to ensure successful execution of service repairs and preventive maintenance projects

Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals while maintaining detailed sales reports and CRM documentation

Participate in process improvements and contribute feedback to enhance sales strategies and workflows

Qualifications :

2–3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the HVAC, mechanical, or construction industry

Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, or related building systems preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM or database systems

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment

Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and in a team setting

Bachelor’s degree, trade school, or equivalent experience required
