About The Position

About this Position Xray Tech at Main Hospital Shift : Will work 3x12 nights Thursday - Saturday 6 : 30p-7A with holidays as needed Is on-call REQ? Call rotation for weekly call, 3-4 days / month. Daily Caseload per tech : Varies Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Floating to other buildings on the same campus may be required Required / Preferred : Years of experience REQ 1 year First Timers Accepted-yes Certs / Lic REQ : ARRT, BLS Certification / Licenses Accepted : ARRT (R) and SCRQSA (R) Types of Experience REQ : O-Arm and C-arm experience Trauma experience preferred but not required Radiation Badge REQ : Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Misc Radius rule Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions : All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours : Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility : Teaching Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma : Magnet, Teaching and Level 1 Trauma Total Staffed Beds : 865 Scrub Color : Teal Top / Black Bottoms Charting : Epic Parking Cost : Nights and weekends cost only. One time payment of $20 for a parking pass. Hurricane Season

• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September
