Technical Project Manager
Insight Global is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join an enterprise retail company, hybrid out of Vancouver, BC / Toronto, ON / Ontario, CA / Columbus, OH. The successful candidate will work closely with Business Owners, PMO, and Technology teams to ensure delivery plans are in place and managed. Responsible for aligning delivery plan with organization and managing the narrative of the delivery plan as the team is executing with value. Other principle duties and responsibilities include :
- Plan, manage monitor, and close / handover to operations for large projects with complex scope, multiple work streams and interdependencies.
- Effectively manage and report on risks and mitigation, scope, budget and timelines.
- Develop relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and cross functional teams to ensure solutions meet timeline and business objectives.
- Ensure all project / program tasks are clearly understood, assigned and tracked.
- Complete all project documentation required based on our PMO process.
- Engage in and communicate ideas for supporting the continuous improvement of PMO processes with a positive and constructive attitude and for developing this attitude in others.
- Ability to manage in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Roll up your sleeves to creatively solve problems and tackle impediments with your team.
- Communicate constantly with relevant information that others may action or learn from.
- Make decisions when the going gets tough and facilitate decision-making moments for others.
- Provide rationale and state assumptions to validate those tough decisions.
- Address and facilitate conflict, in the moment, with diplomacy and poise or elevate issues to management.
- Energize the team with a positive attitude.
- Continually seek to improve the team's velocity and growth while constantly seeking to improve your own craft.
- Provide clear visibility into progress to all stakeholders.
- Know when issues or risks need to be escalated and can escalate effectively, providing options to move forwards.
- Create and manage budgets and report on budget and status to the business stakeholders, PMO, program & technology management and multiple cross-functional partners.
- Hold an attitude of transparency to grow trust from stakeholders, partners, and team members.

Skills and Requirements :
10+ years of solid project manager role experience.Experience in supply chain (preferably distribution operations).Experience working in an agile development including tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.Experience managing budgets more than $1M.2 or more years of experience managing remote teams.Effective communication skills, team management and ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams.Certified Scrum Master.
