Position : Point of Sale Team Lead
Reports to : Heartland Outlet Manager
Status : 20 hours - Non-Exempt
The Point of Sale (POS) Team Lead is responsible for overseeing front-end operations at the POS counter. This role ensures proper register coverage, accurate handling of cash receipts, and positive customer interactions that reflect HRM’s mission and values. The POS Team Lead recruits, trains, and supports cashiers and shift leads, providing leadership that promotes excellence, efficiency, and a Christ-centered approach to customer service.
Requirements : Responsibilities
- Manage and staff the POS counter during store hours
 - Recruit and train shift leads and cashiers to ensure proper coverage of registers
 - Manage the handling / counting / reporting of cash receipts
 - Model interaction with customers in a manner that reflects HRM’s mission and values
 
Education / Experience
High School Diploma or equivalentExperience in retail sales preferredExperience building, leading and managing teams.Competencies

Schedule will include working evenings, weekends, and extended hours as required by ministry needs.Standing, walking and sitting for extended periods of time.May require lifting up to 30 lbs.
