Jennie-O Turkey Store - Breeder Operator - Barron, WI

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform daily farm activities/chores associated with caring for breeder turkeys, hatching eggs, farm equipment as outlined and described in dept. operating manuals

2. Help employees with safety, productivity and cost control by providing personal involvement in farm management and operating decisions/problem solving

3. Responsible for accurate accounting and record keeping for eggs packed, eggs culled, cooler temperatures, humidity's internal egg temperatures

Minimum Qualifications

* Reliable transportation to and from assigned farm

* Must be able to work every other weekend and holidays

* 9th grade math level, reading and writing skills

* Ability to work unsupervised

* PHYSICAL: Able to lift up to 70 pounds from floor to waist occasionally

* Able to wear eye and respiratory protection equipment continually

* Ability to work in all weather conditions cold & hot

* No restrictions with lifting, bending or standing

Preferred Qualifications

* Valid driver's license with a good record

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 2 years farm experience

* Flexibility in schedule to accommodate the changes in production needs
