Location : Baytown, TX Schedule : First Shift, Full-Time

Were seeking a skilled Manual Lathe Machinist to support precision machining operations in a heavy industrial setting. This role focuses on shaping and finishing metal componentsespecially pipe ends and fittingsusing manual lathe equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Set Up & Operate Manual Lathes : Machine pipe ends and metal parts to exact specifications using manual lathe tools.
• Read Technical Drawings : Interpret blueprints and mechanical schematics to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Precision Machining : Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure parts meet required standards.
• Pipe Beveling & Threading : Perform beveling and threading operations on large-diameter pipe sections for field installation.
• Tool Maintenance : Maintain lathe equipment and ensure tools are sharp, calibrated, and safe to use.
• Quality Control : Inspect finished components for defects and document measurements and production data.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with welders, fitters, and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve machining issues.
