Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior User Interface Designer to lead the design and implementation of modern, user-friendly, and standardized interfaces across our suite of mobile applications and websites. This multi-faceted role will include establishing and maintaining a cohesive design system that enhances usability, accessibility, and visual consistency across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces for mobile and web applications.
• Collaboratively grow, mature, and maintain the centralized UI design system and component library to ensure consistency across all products.
• Collaborate with UX designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate user needs and business requirements into elegant design solutions.
• Define and enforce UI standards, best practices, and accessibility guidelines (., WCAG AA, Section 508 compliance).
• Conduct design reviews and provide guidance to ensure adherence to established UI principles.
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the user-facing designs.
• Create mockups and high-fidelity visual designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Advocate for user-centered design and contribute to a culture of design excellence throughout the organization.
• Become an active member of the organization’s UI / UX Community of Practice.
• Other duties as assigned.
