Sr Director Beauty & Salon
Sr Director of Beauty & Salon leads the Beauty & Salon Field teams by communicating Beauty & Salon Strategies through the Stores Senior leadership team, home office Beauty / Salon Divisions, Store Operations and Field Beauty / Salon support teams. Creates an engaging team environment that facilitates the execution of all business and Company initiatives. Drives sales and margin, operational and compliance goals through strategic planning and execution. Facilitates two-way dialog from the field to Beauty Home Office partners to inform business evolution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing the organization's brand strategy. Ensures that strategic direction and information is communicated to Beauty Field Leadership and the stores organization to promote consistent execution of strategy and attainment of objectives for Beauty & Salon.
- Sets and communicates the strategy, along with the broad actions needed to implement it, for achieving the divisions mission, vision, and values; inspire a large or diverse workforce to commit to these tenets and do extraordinary things to achieve the organization's business goals.
- Delivers results by ensuring the execution of all business initiatives in collaboration with senior Beauty Field Managers, regional leadership, and business partners to achieve sales, profit and customer experience targets. Partners with Senior Leadership to establish and implement Strategic Plans and Objectives. Manages a significant segment of strategic partnering, ensuring robust partner relationship building.
- Reviews targeted reporting and store processes to identify sales and profit benchmarking opportunities across regions and for the division. Leads the gathering and reporting of Salon and Beauty Feedback, sharing wins and opportunities to inform process changes and business actions, closing the loop through the Beauty Field Team.
- Builds the leadership capabilities of the Senior Beauty Field Team, driving engagement and ensuring the identification and development of a pipeline of diverse talent in the total field organization. Influences actions related to attracting and retaining talent, team development, training and onboarding.
- Manages and reports on performance within the department or area of responsibility; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold individuals accountable for achieving them; takes appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives.
- Delivers monthly sales and performance metrics, travel budget / distribution within the field organization.
- Understands the competitive landscape by observing and studying other companies to learn about current initiatives / strategies. Regularly shares findings and implements best practices.
- This position requires up to 50% travel in stores across the US. Preference of Dallas-Ft Worth area to work in-office, willing to discuss remote opportunities.
