Introduction Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an experienced and compassionate Small Animal Veterinarian to join their close-knit team. This is a unique opportunity for an Associate Veterinarian with leadership potential, with future advancement into a Medical Director role and potential partnership. Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., with Sundays closed. The schedule respects work-life balance with no on-call duties or holiday work required. Doctors consistently work four days per week with a one-hour lunch break. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive general practice responsibilities, including wellness exams, diagnostics, preventive care, surgical procedures ranging from routine operations to advanced surgeries such as TPLO and TTA, dentistry, acupuncture, and fear-free techniques. The role also includes client education and mentoring opportunities. This position is open to experienced veterinarians who are looking for a collaborative environment and a potential leadership path. Practice Details The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, in-house laboratories, and echocardiogram capabilities, providing doctors the tools to perform advanced diagnostics and treatments. The hospital offers holistic treatments such as Chinese herbal therapies and acupuncture. AAHA-Accredited : As an AAHA-accredited practice, we meet the highest standards of veterinary care, ensuring pets receive top-notch service in a safe environment. The practice provides comprehensive services including wellness exams, diagnostic services, nutritional counseling, behavioral counseling, puppy, kitten, and senior care, along with low-cost pet wellness care. Services also include surgical procedures, dentistry, and acupuncture. The culture emphasizes professional growth, work-life balance, and high-quality, individualized care. Team The hospital has three DVMs, five veterinary assistants, and three client service representatives, providing a 2 : 1 staff-to-doctor ratio.
