Were seeking a Database Administrator with strong experience in SQL Server and MongoDB to support secure, high-availability database environments. This role is remote, but candidates must reside within 90 miles of Martinsburg, WV and qualify for a Public Trust Clearance.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, secure, patch, and administer MSSQL 2019 / 2022 instances.

Manage database backups, recovery, and performance tuning using Commvault and other tools.

Configure and maintain Always On Availability Groups for high availability.

Write and optimize T-SQL queries and PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks.

Configure Transparent Data Encryption and implement DISA / FISMA / STIG security standards.

Create, deploy, and debug SSIS packages and assist with SQL Reporting Services as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

2-5 years of database administration experience with SQL Server 2022.

Experience with MongoDB and PowerShell scripting .

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Self-directed, detail-oriented, and committed to quality and deadlines.

Preferred : Experience with SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) installation and administration.
